Italian to English translation URGENT?
Hey... Please can someone translate this into English for me? I text a guy u like saying.. Ciao, come vai? (hey how's it going) and he replied...Vado a tutta birra.. Please can someone translate for me and also give me an idea if what to reply with, can you also put in English too so I kno wat I'm saying... Thank you !!Italian to English translation URGENT?
Well..how's is going in italian is "Come va" (not come vai), that is how are you (= "come stai")...
"Vado a tutta birra" is a idiomatic expression, it literaly means "I'm going fast" , it's used to say that is all right and you're fine, or that you're really enjoing yourself (pratically it's a strong way to say that you're satisfied of how is going.)
To reply, you could just say: "wow, anche per me va tutto bene" (if you're fine too - for example "wow, that is good! I'm ok too") or "sono contento per te, ma a me non va bene per niente" (if you're not fine - for example "glad of hear that, but, alas, for me it's not fine".Italian to English translation URGENT?
Vado a tutta birra in Italian means "I go at top speed" in English. Don't know why he'd say that. =?

Italian to English translation?
vedo che lo conosci un p貌
please tell me what this means!Italian to English translation?
"Un p貌" is an incorrect way to write "un po'" (short for "un poco"). Though it's wrong, it's still widely used among texters, in chat, and elsewhere.
It's difficult to respond w/100% accuracy to your question without more context. The reason is this: the article "lo" can mean "him" or it can mean "it." So, as others have said, the sentence could mean, "I see you know him slightly/a little" or it could mean "I see you know a little about it/the subject."
In any case, with that as a start, you'll be able to figure out what works best in your situation.Italian to English translation?

Direct Italian to English translation?
perseguire il vertice
Could you please tell me exactly what this says and if it's conjugated correctly?
Thanks, (: I need it for research for a piece I'm writing, IT'S NOT HOMEWORK.
I don't take Italian... I take Latin. Okay way too much information but still :)
Thank you :)Direct Italian to English translation?
"To pursue the summit/apex"
It's in the infinitive, which makes me suspect it's a machine translation. For some reason those translators seem to use infinitive whenever imperatives are called for.
The formal imperative of "perseguire" would be "persegua".

Hi,
I have done a translation for my Italian class, i think it is ok but there are a few sentences that have confused me as it is using the imperfect subjunctive. I think i have selected the correct words from the dictionary but i also struggled with "arrivato in basso"...Here is the translation, any criticism or addition etc. is welcome as i am still not happy with it but cannot make any sense out of it.
Thank you in advance for taking time out to help me.
(Fruttero - Lucentini)
Arriving late, the inspector stopped to consider for a moment, without sympathy, the people already, for the most part, in disarray crowding the lobby of the passport office. If signor Campi had been there, tall as he was, he would have seen him immediately. But he was not there, of course. They must have sent him in there straight away, in the office of Ajello, where his friend’s passport was signed and ready, away from the crowd of applicants who were champing at the bit and hovering in front of the counters. The inspector opened up a pathway for himself through those agitated people. Holidays, the car, the itinerary: nobody was keeping still, even here.
“Have you seen Dr. Campi? Has he come to you?” – He asked appearing at his colleague’s window.
You had to play the game: for someone like Ajello it was inconceivable that someone like signor Campi not to be a doctor and not to be called doctor.
“Yes, he was just here. He came to collect his friend’s passport. Why? Did you want him?”
“Nothing, nothing,” said the inspector
He rushed to the door, pushing people, and went out onto the street to see if signor Campo was around out there, to wait in consideration for the precise time: or if by chance he himself was not even there: with the idea perhaps, of appearing cheerful when he had lost all hope of seeing him.Could somebody please check my italian to english translation please?

He rushed to the door, pushing aside people, and went out onto the sidewalk to see if signor Campi was around out there, to wait in thoughtfulness for the precise time: or if by chance he was actually leaving: with the idea perhaps, of cheerfully reappearing when he had lost all hope of seeing him.
"Arrivato in basso" describes someone who's probably just come down from a flight of stairs or something similar.
"Signor Campi" or "Signor Ajello" somehow don't sound right; either you say "il signor Campi" or "Mr Campi".
You use "Signor Campi" only when you're actually calling after him.
I changed a few words here and there but you really did a great job, it's pretty difficult and logics don't work for you since this is obviously a tiny piece of a much longer novel; I myself can't figure out who Mr Campi is and why the inspector is apparently chasing him :-SCould somebody please check my italian to english translation please?
Instead of 'in basso" why not use "in ritardo?"Could somebody please check my italian to english translation please?
Come down, the inspector stopped to consider for a moment, without sympathy, people already in good part Scamiciata crowding the lobby of passports. If Mr. Fields had been there, tall as he was would have seen immediately. But there was, of course. They were immediately sent him there, in the office of Ajello, where the passport of his friend was ready and signed off by the crowd of petitioners who stamped and swayed in front of the doors. The inspector opened the road between those agitated. Holidays, the car, the routes: there was nobody to stop them, even here.
- Have you seen Dr. Fields? He came to you? - Churches in the doorway of his colleague. You had to play the game: for someone like Ajello was inconceivable that someone like Mr. Fields was not a doctor and no doctor was called.
- Yes, he was here now. He came to take the passport of his friend. Why? He wanted?
- Nothing, nothing, - said the inspector.
He went quickly to the door, pushing people, and went out onto the sidewalk to see if Mr. Fields was not around there, waiting for delicate precise time: or whether he was standing even going: the idea maybe, to appear cheerful when he had lost all hope of seeing him.
Arriving downstairs, the inspector stopped to consider for a moment, without sympathy, the people already, for the most part shirtless crowding the lobby of the passport office. If signor Campi had been there, tall as he was, he would have seen him immediately. But he was not there, of course. They must have sent him over there straight away, in the office of Ajello, where his friend’s passport was already signed and ready, away from the crowd of applicants who were champing at the bit and hovering in front of the counters. Yu-gi-oh Italian to English translation?
I have a card in Italian that I can sort of figure out because I know English and Spanish, but cognates only take me so far, so can anyone translate this for me? Online translators I have tried were unreliable...Also, there are accents here which I don't know how to type on the comp., so i'll put an asterisk there and describe the accent mark under the text.
Quando questa carta attacca il mostro che sta guardando, puo* provocare la danneggiamente della lotta alla controparte se il numero di ATK e** piu*** alto di DEF del mostro. Quando la carta provoca la denneggiamente della lotta alla controparte, tirare una carta dalla serie di carta da se
*backwards accent over the "o", like the accent in the word "cliche" except facing the other way
**same backwards accent over the "e"
***same backwards accent over the "u"
Thank you in advance to whoever can help me with this.BTW, the name of the card is Cavalirre Del Cielo, which I think means Cavalry of Heaven...Yu-gi-oh Italian to English translation?
When this card attack the monster it's looking at ,it may cause the fight's damaging to the opponent provided the ATK(attack ?) number is higher than the DEF (defense ?) number of the monster. When the card causes a fight's damaging to the opponent you can take for youself one card of the same series.
---------
And "Cavaliere del cielo" translates "Cavalier of Heaven"
----------
It seems that the directions on the card had been written in Italian by mean of some mechanical translation...!! It's weird mispelled Italian but I feel having translated it at my best.Yu-gi-oh Italian to English translation?
When this card attacks the monster that it is watching, it can provoke the mischief of the fight/struggle/conflict against the opposing party if the number of ATK is higher than DEF of the monster. When the card provokes the opposing monster/enemy, it takes(pulls) another card of the series of cards from which it comes.
P.S. this is just a quick/rough translation, hope you get the gist of it.apa 6th edition word twist

What is the exact translation from italian to english of CIMICI.?
I know it's a bug but what kind? What is the exact translation from italian to english of CIMICI.?
Typically cimici = bedbugs, though the more precise term is "cimici dei letti," as there are several species in that family. The most common, though, is the bedbug.
Regarding the Southern Green Shield bug: according to Wikipedia, it doesn't even belong to the same family as bed bugs. Shield bugs (aka stink bugs) are Pentatomoidea; bed bugs are Cimicidae.
I know in some languages the two are actually called by the same name. Not sure about Italian. When in doubt, you could always use the Latin name: Cimex lectularius (bed bug) and Nezara viridula (southern green shield bug). What is the exact translation from italian to english of CIMICI.?
I gave a look to the answers and to the links above, I'm Italian and i tell you for sure that what we usually call CIMICE is the Southern Green Shield bug, or stink bug, and all the Pentatomidae bug family. About the bed bug, it just belongs to the same big Heteroptera family (as i read on wikipedia just now...).What is the exact translation from italian to english of CIMICI.?
it's a bed or wood bug
it is the sme in english and it is a bed bug

Where can I find an accurate English to Italian or English to Latin translation?
I'm trying to translate the following phrase into either language-preferably Latin I think but would like to see both. Any help would be appreciated:
That which you do in excess will be your undoing.Where can I find an accurate English to Italian or English to Latin translation?
Quod nimis facies te pessumdabit. LatinWhere can I find an accurate English to Italian or English to Latin translation?
In italian is:
Tutto ci貌 che fai in pi霉, non varr脿 nulla
In latin......?? it takes me ages....I don't remember it anymore......
Well, your phrase should be a sort of english literal one but if you want to translate word by word, this should sound like:
That...CIO'
which....CHE
you do....FAI
in excess...IN ECCESSO or CON IMPETO (impulse, onslaught)
will be....SARA'
your...LA TUA
undoing...ROVINA, NULLA, NIENTE or SFORZO INVANO ( in vain effort)
so my first translation would be fine literally translated. You know italians have free interpretation.....but the meaning makes sense
Hope this helps.
ByeWhere can I find an accurate English to Italian or English to Latin translation?
You need to find a person who is fluent in the two langauges...either English and Latin or English and Italian...
It's a good quote, and this is a good place to do it...Fraid I'm not fluent enough in either...yet.
A Priest should be able to do that...call your local diocese or Catholic church.

Help with a translation - English to Italian?
Please can you help me with this translation from English to Italian?
My teacher is leaving and I've only got as far as being able to order drinks in the language... I really want to be able to give him a card in Italian but don't have enough knowledge to translate something so complex.
Dear .......................
Thank you for helping me so much with my French, I have really appreciated you taking the time to practise speaking French with me outside of classes, when you had a lot of other work to do.
Also, thank you for the Italian classes that you have done for us at lunchtimes. It has been a subject that I've always wanted to study and I have never had the opportunity to do so before. I would like to think that these classes will help me a little when I start beginners Italian at University next year.
It's a shame that you have to leave! But I know that you will make a fantastic teacher and that any student would be lucky to have you teach them.
Good luck in the future!

First of all, in English you don't have other forms besides the "you" but we (Italians) have more respectful forms which I assume would do in this case, being this person one of your teachers..You won't speak to him as if he was one of your friends. So, in the previous translation offered the title used was "tu", confidential, while it would be better to emply "lei", more respectful.
Here I give you my personal translation:

Grazie per avermi aiutato cos矛 tanto con il Francese, ho molto apprezzato il tempo che ha dedicato nell'insegnarmi questa lingua al di fuori delle lezioni, nonostante fosse gi脿 molto impegnato. (previous translation was wrong in this passage)
Grazie anche per le lezioni d'Italiano che ci ha dato durante i pasti. Era una materia che avrei sempre voluto studiare ma non me ne era mai capitata l'opportunit脿. Mi piace pensare che queste lezioni mi saranno d'aiuto l'anno prossimo quando sceglier貌 Italiano come materia all'Universit脿.
E' un peccato che se ne debba andare! Ma so che sar脿 un insegnante magnifico e che i suoi studenti saranno molto fortunati ad averla.
In bocca al lupo per il futuro!

You can simply say "Come va ?"
and answer to this question is :
"Va bene grazie, e tu ?" (informal)
or "Va bene grazie, e lei" (formal)
or "Va bene grazie, e voi" (if the answer is addressed to more than one person).
An alternative could be :
come stai ? informal
come sta ? formal
come state ? addressed to more people
and respective answers are :
sto bene grazie, e tu
sto bene grazie, e lei
sto bene grazie, e voiHow to translation from english to italian?
well literally it is
bene, come ti stai facendo

Al tavolo di un bar
Al tempo che passai
Nella strada che va
Dai giorni senza Dio
A quelli insieme a te
Dove mi ritrovo io
Le cose vanno via
Si perdono…chissà
Eppure siamo qui
Sulla bocca un “ciao”
Io e te così
My heart is calling
Boom baby
Boom boom boom
My soul is getting
Blue baby
Blue blue blue
As blue as the sky
As blue as your eyes
Bussare agli occhi tuoi
E non trovare me
Le mani che oramai
Non si incollano a te

Parole andate via
Come noi due
My heart is calling
Boom baby
Boom boom boom
My soul is getting
Blue baby
Blue blue blue
As blue as the sky
As blue as your eyes
Gridando sento
Che no, non mi arrendo
E brucio e scaccio via
La malinconia
Odore di città
Che non è più poesia
Nell’attimo che ormai
Con le scarpe va via
E c’è dell’ansietà
Pensarmi senza te
Sarà una novità
My heart is calling
Boom baby
Boom boom boom
My soul is getting
Blue baby
Blue blue blue
As blue as the sky
As blue as your eyesItalian to English translation needed please....?
From the time that I ate
at the table of a bar
to the time that i spent
in the street that goes
from the days without god
to those with you
where i find myself
things leave
and they get lost... who knows
nevertheless we are here
on the mouth a "Ciao"
Me and you like this
Knock at your eyes
and not finding me
the hands that by now
don't touch you
words that left
like us
screaming i hear
that no, I don't surrender
and I burn and I fight off
melancoly
smell of the city
that is not poetry
in the instant that by now
goes away with his shoes
and anxiety
thinking of me without you
it will be a novelty

Italian to English translation for the song Via Con Me?
Some are already in English, they obviously do not need to be translated. I know it's asking a lot but if you could also put how to pronounce the Italian version-correctly, you automaticly win.

D: I need a translation from english to italian, this is just a little paragraph explaining that I would rather live in the city as opposed to the suburbs. THANK YOU%26lt;33
If I had to choose, I would prefer to live in the city. Many people would say otherwise, but living in the city has many advantages. First of all, living in the city means that many stores and little shops are more available. I love to shop, and since the city is very compact, all the stores would be close to one another. Another perk is that I love the atmosphere. At night, the city is very beautiful with all of the lights and the liveliness. Transportation would also be very easy with all of the buses, subways, etc.
The disadvantages of living in a city would be the constant noise outside. Also, in the city there would be a lot of pollution in the air from all of the cars. Living in the outskirts of a city, you would not have a problem with these things. Overall I still would prefer to live in the city since i love the life style.HELP English to italian translation!!!?

Se dovessi scegliere, preferirei vivere in città. Molti direbbero il contrario, ma che vivono in città ha molti vantaggi. Prima di tutto, che vivono in città vuol dire che molti negozi e piccoli negozi sono più disponibili. Adoro fare shopping, e poiché la città è molto compatto, tutti i negozi sarebbero vicini l'uno all'altro. Un altro vantaggio è che io amo l'atmosfera. Di notte, la città è molto bella, con tutte le luci e la vivacità. Trasporti sarebbe anche molto facile con tutte le, metropolitane autobus, ecc
Gli svantaggi di vivere in una città sarebbe il rumore esterno costante. Inoltre, in città ci sarebbero un sacco di inquinamento in aria da tutte le vetture. PeterItalian to English translation please?
I'm dreaming only about you
Dear Peter italian language is hard..The translation literary is: I dream only you...But the meaning italian is different...I have never forgotten you..I think you night and day..
Also..You are my dream..I don't look for others persons ..
By..by..from ItalyItalian to English translation please?
"I only dream of you". (The literal translation would be: "I don't dream of anything but you")
Hi Peter!
I'm glad I can help you! ( well, at least I hope so!). ;)
Yes, Sogno means Dream. In this case "sogno" is not a noun but it's a verb ( the verb is "sognare" = to dream).
Translated it would be: " I dream of you all of my time".
I'll make you an ex; you are in love with someone and you think about him/her all day long... when you meet him or her you tell him/her "non sogno che te" it means that you love him/her and that she's/he's always in " your mind". I don't know if I explained well....

I need an english to Italian translation for a tattoo please!?
Hi guys, my father passed away a few months ago and I want to get a tattoo to remember him. I'm going to get an image on my shoulder with the phrase "your guiding hand on my shoulder will remain with me forever." I would like to get that phrase translated into Italian. Any help would be really appreciated. Thank you!I need an english to Italian translation for a tattoo please!?
Hi Mike,
check this one:
"Sarai sempre qui a guidarmi con la mano sulla mia spalla"
That's my best suggestion man. It's not a literal translation, but it's the only way I could think that made the phrase sound fluent and kind of nice. If translated literally, it would be:
"You'll be here forever, guiding me with your hand on my shoulder"
I think that could do as well. Any other way would sound a bit heavy to a native.
Hope it helps,
CheersI need an english to Italian translation for a tattoo please!?
Hi Mike,
well, I would write: " la tua mano mi guidera' per sempre " that is "your hand will guide me forever."
Italian is my mother language. There is not such an article in Italian, so clear as it is" guiding". I mean...you may also write.."la tua mano illuminata restera' sulla mia spalla per sempre". Illuminata is the Italian for enlightened . Really good it is also the first suggestion of Stich, see above.
I am really sorry for your loss. Take careI need an english to Italian translation for a tattoo please!?

Need english/italian translation. No online translators please. Important?
This is what I need translated. Thanks in advance!!
"So far, I am enjoying life in Gela very much. The way of life and people are very different from anything in America. The people are nicer, the food is better, the sea is beautiful, and the atmosphere is wonderful. In America, everyone is always in a hurry. The pace of life is much more relaxing. People are also more willing to be kind. I feel very at home here, and I鈥檝e only been here a month."Need english/italian translation. No online translators please. Important?
I wouldn't say the first question is totally wrong, but there are some little mistakes and some spelling mistakes too.
"Fino ad ora, a Gela mi sto proprio godendo la vita. Lo stile di vita e le persone sono completamente diverse da qualsiasi cosa in America. Le persone sono anche meglio disposte alla gentilezza. Mi sento proprio a casa qui, e ci sono da un mese soltanto"
Some capital letters in the first answer went missing, and BELLO is written with 2 L's, not one. Furthermore, MUCH MORE is MOLTO PIU', because DI GRAN LUNGA means FAR (like in Far better). It means the same thing, but if you want an accurate translation, here's mine.Need english/italian translation. No online translators please. Important?

Italian to English translation - "ma parli solo inglese"?
tl;dr: I need "ma parli solo inglese??" translated from Italian to English.
This Italian guy on Facebook lives in a city I want to know more about (in Sicily). I sent him a message asking if he speaks English ("Parla inglese?"), and he said back "ma parli solo inglese??"
I've tried looking it up using online translators (like Babelfish and FreeTranslation.com), and they were all unclear. Can someone who speaks Italian and English help me out, or direct me to a forum or something where someone wouldn't mind helping me?Italian to English translation - "ma parli solo inglese"?
"Ma parli solo inglese?" = "But do you speak only English?". Probably he don't speak English very well. I'll give you some advice if you want to communicate in Italian ;You should go to Italy Yahoo in the Language section, and there you can ask the translation of what you want from English to italian and from Italian into English .There you can got great translations and I can also help you because I'm often in that section . HELLO.
Inglese is English Solo is one or only
SO maybe he only speaks English or he asking if You only speak English. Maybe he can't speak English.Italian to English translation - "ma parli solo inglese"?
I think that means "I only speak english", but if he is italian, he don't speak english, he would've just spoke inglish. It sounds a lot like french.
Ask:
Google.com
what I think it translates to is "only speak english" but I don't know what he means, he is probably asking if you only speak english or maybe he is a person studing or working abroad and he is saying that he only speaks english.Italian to English translation - "ma parli solo inglese"?
He wanted to know whether you could speak any other language other than English. Probably he can speak only Italian.

Italian to english translation?
i was at a dinner party and someone gave a toast and ended it w an italian phrase (sounded to be spelled) "Chen Don"... what does this mean?Italian to english translation?
It's spelled "Cent'ann", and it means "100 years", meant to wish someone long life and good health.
A more proper way of saying it would be like "Cent' anni". The proper Italian word for "years" is "anni" with the final "ee" sound, but in more dialectal versions, the last vowel could be omitted.
In Italian C followed by an E or an I makes the "ch" sound as in "cheese", [t蕛].Italian to english translation?
I am Italian and we usually say Cin Cin (spelled as Cheen Cheen) and it is the same as Chears for English toast. This words represente the sound when the glass touch each other.
P.S. I am sorry for my English!

Hey guys
I am a collector of the great Italian carcano rifle. In belgium you can own these rifles in working condition without a license(but no ammo allowed)
Information is not readily avaible about the carcano. Especialy the more less known variants
one of these. Is the Moschetto modello 1891 per t.s con tromboncino mod 28. This was a specialy designed grenade launching rifle. It used a unique system.
Information is not avaible in english, however there is one site wich has all the info about carcano's. However it is in Italian, and google translate messes it up. The phrases doesnt make sense!
there is only a small part that i need translated to english, wich is this=

Particulars The musket with tromboncino mod. 28 agrees the shot to normal bullet of musketry and the throw until 200 meters of bombs from infantry against targets paraded. It is for the shot to bullet it is for the throw of the bombs s' employs the cartridge regulate model 91/95 and it is used the same shutter of the musket; shutter that for the throw of the bombs with tromboncino it is gone from the breech of the musket to that of the tromboncino. I fire it in two cases it is carried out always working on the trigger of the musket. For the puntamento in the shot to bullet s' employs the normal line of sight; in the shot with the tromboncino s' employs instead a second line of sight, determined from an additional notch on the left to the standing d' I lift to regulate and from a fixing viewfinder sideways on the political left of the musket. The notch of the second line of sight can take on the decisive positions from three engravings imprinted in red on the edge dell' left wing of the I clatter d' I lift, and marked from the numbers 1-1,5 and 2, to which comes fixing the standing d' I lift to second that the distance of the target is of 100, 150 or 200 meters. Gentili Signori,
Sono molto spiacente di informarVi di dover cancellare la prenotazione presso il Vostro albergo per il periodo dal 24/09/2008 al 12/10/2008 a nome di ------
Sono dispiaciuto per la cancellazione ma a causa dello spostamento di una vertebra non sono, per il momento, in grado di viaggiare.

The translation someone else posted will work. However, why not call/telephone them? A simple telephone call or cancellation online will work much faster. They don't need to know why; they just need to cancel the reservation. English/Italian Translation?

English to Italian translation?
I was hoping someone who is fluent in Italian could please give me a translation from English to Italian for a tattoo my girlfriend and I each want to get. We each want to get the following and I need to obviously make sure it's correct as this will be on us for life.
I want the translation for this:
"I will always love her"
She wants the translation for:
"I will always love him"
Or
We may just both go with the same thing:
"I will always love you"
If someone would be kind enough to make sure I already have the correct translation it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance!English to Italian translation?
I will always love her = l'amer貌 per sempre (la amer貌 per sempre)
I will always love him = l'amer貌 per sempre (lo amer貌 per sempre)
No one uses the sentences in brackets, so the answer from A was correct.
I will always love you = ti amer貌 per sempreEnglish to Italian translation?
you realy want to write a thing like this?...and if in future you'll no more love her?.......
the translation is for "I will always love her" and "I will always love him" = l'amer貌 per sempre
for "I will always love you" = ti amer貌 per sempre
for me is better "ti amer貌 per sempre"(most used olso by italians) because is better the sound and is referred to him or herEnglish to Italian translation?
This is not the best translation, but since you have no other answers, I'll take a shot at it. "Vai te amorere per tutti i tempi."
"L'amer貌 per sempre" works for both sexes. It means "I will love him/her forever/always"
"I will always love you" = "Ti amer貌 per sempre

Help with English to Italian translation please?
Firstly, thank you to anyone who takes time out to help here.
I would like the sentences "Come back to us safe. I shall miss you a little more each day" translated into Italian please.
I don't really trust these on-line translatorsHelp with English to Italian translation please?
Hi. First of all....you received a couple of google translations + "torna bene da noi" makes no sense in Italian. Idiomatically, we don't just say "safe", we kind of say "safe and sound"- sano e salvo. Since they are adjectives, they have to agree in gender and number with the noun they modify. So, if the person you want to come back safe %26amp; sound is 1 male - sano e salvo. If it's 1 female -sana e salva. If it's more than 1 female - sane e salve. If it's more than 1 male - sani e salvi. Also, the "you" in Italian can be singular or plural. So, your translation would be:
If you're talking to 1 person:
Torna da noi sano/a e salvo/a. Ogni giorno mi mancherai sempre di più.

If you're talking to more than 1 person:
Tornate da noi sane/i e salve/i. Ogni giorno mi mancherete sempre di più.
I hope this helps. Ciao, :-) N.

I need Italian to English translation. for music.?
I need to know what these music words in Italian mean in English. Please lable the ones u answer.
Andante
issimo
vivace
staccato
adagioI need Italian to English translation. for music.?
From fastest to slowest, the common tempo markings are:
Prestissimo - as fast as possible (200 - 208 bpm)
Vivacissimo - very vivacious
Allegrissimo - very cheerful
Presto - fast (168 - 200 bpm)
Vivo - live
Vivace - lively and fast (~140 bpm)
Allegro assai- rather cheerful
Allegro - cheerful and quickly (120 - 168 bpm)
Allegro Moderato - Moderately cheerful ad quick
Allegretto - Rather lively (but less so than Allegro)
Moderato - moderately (90 - 115 bpm)
Andantino - Alternatively faster or slower than Andante.
Andante - walking (76 - 108 bpm)
Adagietto - Rather slow
Adagio - slowly (66 - 76 bpm)
Larghetto (60 - 66 bpm)
Lento - very slow
Largo - suspended (40 - 60 bpm)
Lentissimo - very very slow
Adagissimo -slower than Lentissimo
Larghissimo - very wide
Grave - heavy, seriously
Maestoso - Majestically
'a tempo' return to the beginning tempo (speed), usually from a ritardando (slow down) or accelerando (speed up)
All of these markings are based on a few root words such as 'allegro', 'largo', 'adagio', 'vivace', 'presto' 'andante' and 'lento'. By adding the -issimo ending the word is amplified, by adding the -ino ending the word is diminished, and by adding the -etto ending the word is endeared.
There are also Common Qualifiers
assai - very, as in Allegro assai (but also understood by some as "enough")
con brio - with vigor
con moto - with motion
non troppo - not too much, e.g. Allegro non troppo (or Allegro ma non troppo) means "Fast, but not too much."
non tanto - not so much
molto - very, as in Molto Allegro or "Adagio Molto"
poco - slightly, as in Poco Adagio
pi霉 - more, as in Pi霉 Allegro; used as a relative indication when the tempo changes
meno - less, as in Meno Presto
In addition to the common "Allegretto," composers freely apply Italian diminutive and superlative suffixes to various tempo indications: Andantino, Larghetto, Adagietto, Larghissimo.
Some markings that primarily mark a mood (or character) also have a tempo connotation:
Vivace - lively (which generally indicates a rather fast movement)
Maestoso - majestic or stately (which generally indicates a solemn, slow movement)
Sostenuto - Sustained, sometimes with a slackening of tempo.
Composers may use expressive marks to adjust the tempo:
Accelerando - speeding up (abbreviation: accel.)
Ritardando - delaying (abbreviation: rit. or more specifically, ritard.)
Meno Mosso - less movement or slower
Pi霉 Mosso - more movement or faster
Rallentando - slowing down, especially near the end of a section (abbreviation: rall.)
Ritenuto - slightly slower; temporarily holding back. (Note that the abbreviation for ritenuto can also be rit. Thus a more specific abbreviation is riten.)
Stretto - rushing ahead; temporarily speeding up
Rubato - free adjustment of tempo for expressive purposes
Allargando - growing broader; decreasing tempo, usually near the end of a piece
Mosso"" - movement, more lively, or quicker, much like 'Pi霉 Mosso', but not as extreme
While the base tempo indication (such as "Allegro") appears in large type above the staff, these adjustments typically appear below the staff or (in the case of keyboard instrument) in the middle of the grand staff.
Several terms control how large and how gradual this change is:
poco a poco - bit by bit, gradually
subito - suddenly
poco - a little
molto - a lotI need Italian to English translation. for music.?
Andante-Going
issimo- or

staccato-detached
adagio- I set downI need Italian to English translation. for music.?

staccato - short, as in an attack on the note
adagio - at ease, slow

Provero' a telefonare ma non sono sicuro (if you are a guy. If you are a girl use "sicura") se Ann verra' a casa mia a fare visita venerdi'. Sono rimasto (or "rimasta" if you are a girl) piuttosto scioccato (or "scioccata" if you are a girl) quando ho scoperto che Paul si era sposato l'anno scorso. Non ne sapevo nulla ma deduco che non ha niente a che vedere con me. Non penso che Gina e Paul mi accettino come componente della famiglia.
Grazie

Cercher貌 di chiamare ma non sono sicura se Ann vieni a trovarmi il venerdi. Sono rimasta scioccata di scoprire che Paul (Paolo) ha sposato l'anno scorso... Non sapevo niente! Ma credo che non ha nulla a che fare con me. Penso che Gina e Paul non mi prendono come famiglia.

My Italian nephew and his wife are expecting their first baby boy any time now. I would like to send a card of congratulations. Also can this verse on the card I have bought be translated
Congratulations on the birth of baby Davide I am so happy for you both and I cannot wait to see and hold the baby in September.
With much love to you all.
(verse on card) May he have dreams to wish upon
And happiness a lifetime long
May God bless and quide him always
grazie mille
TinaEnglish/Italian translation please?
--helen-- did a good job, but I'd say:
Congratulazioni per la nascita di Davide. Sono cos矛 felice per voi, e non vedo l'ora di vederlo e tenerlo (or stringerlo) fra le braccia a settembre.
Con grande affetto
In Italian it's not very good to say the same word more than once, so "bambino" could be understood in both sentences, that's why I'd say it like that...
"non vedo l'ora di vederlo" it's a little bit weird (because of the repetition) but it's used, and now I can't think of anything else...
"Prenderlo in braccio" could work as well, but "tenerlo/stringerlo fra le braccia" sounds better in my opinion...English/Italian translation please?

Possa il bambino avere dei sogni (desideri) su cui sperare

Possa Dio benedirlo e guidarlo per sempre

English - Italian translation?
How do you say "I fly alone" in Italian and/or Latin? I was led to believe that they were the same but Internet translation sites are giving me various outputs. Thanks!English - Italian translation?
Hi!! In Italian you can say "Volo da sola" oppure "Volo in solitudine" (the latter literally means I fly in loneliness, but in my opinion it sounds better than the first). You can also add before the whole sentence the pronoun "Io", meaning "I", that in Italian is generally used to underline the concept of the subject. (Io volo da sola and Io volo in solitudine).
In Latin it becomes "Ego volo sola" or simply "volo sola".
Note that I supposed a fiminine subject: differently, change "Sola" with "solo" (in Italian) and with "solus" in latin.
I hope this help!
Bye!!

I need to translate an email to a property agent (English to Italian) and get the response translated. There may be several iterations. I'm happy to pay for this service but not sure what is the going rate or where to find someone. I'd prefer an individual rather than a company. Any ideas?English Italian translation?
Try www.craigslist.org. If you are not familiar with the site, just click on the city you live in and on the service you need. There's tons of posts. When I lived in US up until last year I used it to find new students (I'm Italian) and companies/individuals that needed translations. And you can find cheap prices. Translation companies will charge you much more. Just make sure that whoever you're paying to get this service knows legal terms if what you need translated has to do with contracts!! Bets luck.
I just did this last night with a spanish to english translation. Worked like a charm!English Italian translation?
For the human touch, go to your local college or even Italian groups. I have included links below that should help you out in either case.

What is the Italian to English translation?
This phrase is from the book, "The hour glass door" It's on page 35.
The phrase is "Grazie, Faro mio meglio." But it has a little dash about the 'O' in Faro.
And there's another word on page 75. It's " Ti prego" I'd also like to know what that means, too.
Please and Thank You.
~CloudWhat is the Italian to English translation?
Grazie faro mio meglio = "Thank you, I'll do my best"
Ti prego = "I'm begging you" or "I'm asking you please"
By the way, I'm not sure why non-native speakers insist on giving answers.
"Ti prego" does NOT mean "I'm praying" or "I will pray" (which would be "sto pregando" and "preghero'" respectively)
Furthermore, it does not mean "help yourself", "be my guest" or "please do".. It is NOT a way of responding when someone expresses gratitude. Such considerations apply to the word "prego" when standing alone.
Trust me, any Italian will tell you that "Ti prego" means what I suggested above. What is the Italian to English translation?
